# Error with form

now i get this error when i convert the xls form, every value i put it gives the same error, “Please define a ‘table\_id’ setting\_name on the settings sheet and specify the unique table id”

@Godfrey_John1 kindly note that this question seems to be a different topic. Please make sure to use a distinct topic when having a distinct issue.

This error seems to be indicate an issue in the settings sheet, I would check that it does indeed have the table\_id and the correct one. If you are still having issues, please share the excel.

I don’t see any issue in the table\_id here. You should also check the file structure is set up correctly for the form\_id and table\_id [Application Designer Directory Structure — ODK-X Docs](https://docs.odk-x.org/app-designer-directories/) and also that the framework reflects this structure - that could be what is driving the error.
