# Installing ODK-X tools on tablet (stuck on configuring)

Bonjour  
Je suis Yannick ETONDE, Je travail dans le domaine du suivi et évaluation des projets.  
J’utilise ODK depuis environ 5 ans.  
J’ai fortement besoin de ODK-X, car actuellement je travaille dans un projet santé qui a besoin d’une remonté d’information et d’une présentation en temps réelle des information.

Mais mon souci est que j’installe ODK-Services, par contre ODK-Survey et ODK-Table ne démarrent pas. Au démarrage l’information “patientez Configuration” tourne en boucle sans s’arrêter, et cela peu durer plus de 2 heures.

Hi @etonde! I moved this to a separate support post to answer your question.

When you are installing ODK-X Services, Survey, and Table, what tablet and Android version are you using? And what versions of the ODK-X tools? Make sure to use the latest releases: [ODK-X Tool Suite Release v2.1.8](https://forum.odk-x.org/t/odk-x-tool-suite-release-v2-1-8/1339)

Are you testing with the default app or your own app designer?

I am using the latest version, my last try was yesterday. I downloaded the latest versions directly, for example this one ODK-X Survey v2.1.8

@etonde thank you for sending your mobile device version. Other people who have Tecno or Infinix mobile devices has experienced issues because as a system setting it will prevent “background services” from running to save battery life.

Here is a link to the solution for the Tecno. if you find something similar for the Infinix please post it in this thread so others know how to solve the issue.

Merci beaucoup !  
Le problème était lié justement au téléphone, j’ai essayé avec Samsung et cela a réussi.  
La première fois que j’avais essayé était avec Techno, cela n’a pas réussi depuis 2019 et j’étais découragé. Quand je reviens cette fois, j’essaie avec Infinix et j’obtiens le même problème.  
Finalement je pensais que c’est ODK-X qui n’est pas stable.

Je vais continuer de fouiller la solution sur Infinix, je n’hésiterai pas à la partager avec tous si je trouve.

I found the solution to start odk-x Table on Infinix: go to Phone Master app / Autostart Manager / activate ODK-X Table and ODK-X Survey.

Make sure you allow Autostart of ODK-X Services
