# Would setting up local server speed up sync time?

Since we have lots of forms, it takes a lot of time in syncing. I am looking into setting up a local server over WLAN at each study site - but wonder if that would significantly increase the time it takes to sync data? If anyone has experience with this, please share your thoughts.
