How to search a form by an ID

ODK2.0. Could anyone tell me that search a form record by an ID on tablet.

Can you tell us a bit more about the search? Are you trying to find the particular id in tables? Or Survey? Or as the response to a question? Or…?

There could be hundreds of records on tablet which is identified by record ID. Sometime it could be more time consuming to lookup through each record. Is there way to search record by ID or something. Here, 102,112,114, and 115 are record IDs.

I don’t know a way to search in survey, but you might be able to sort the instances. I am not sure the syntax for that (@linl33, any suggestions?).

There isn’t an easy way of adding a search box to that particular page in Survey.

I would use Tables to search for the instance instead. We have an example that show cases this feature of Tables, see Existing Client List — ODK-X Docs
