ODK Sync Endpoint SSL not valid

I have setup Sync Endpoint on Digital Ocean. I came across several issues while doing so and this forum came in very handy and helped with fixing all the issues. I now have an install with no errors, I can login to the admin and can also login as a new user that I just created.

However, the address bar still says “Not secure” and that the certificate is not valid. I noticed no errors at the time of install, so not sure what do I need to do to fix this. Any help is appreciated.

Hey @Mandy_Sin , The “Not Secure” warning does not mean that your computer or the site you are visiting is affected by malware. It only serves to alert you that you do not have a secure connection with that page. Hence, you as a website visitor cannot do much about it.

This site will help you understand more about it. I hope this answer helps you. If you have any further queries I will be happy to help.

Hi @Mandy_Sin! Are you referring to the login for what you set up here? Then it’s less likely to be a malware issue and more likely to be an issue with the certificate not being valid. Have you checked out the docs here? ODK-X Sync Endpoint — ODK-X Docs

It definitely isn’t any malware issue. It looks like the automated install of LetsEnrypt certificate didn’t work. While I did not get any errors at the time of setup, but that’s the more likely cause. The invalid certificate that I see is issued by “docker-light-baseimage”. I will check the link you have mentioned. Thanks.
